Viney’s Palisman Sculpt, 2022
I felt inspired by one of my favorite animated shows, The Owl House, to create a physical version of one of the Palisman from the series, a manticore. Intended to be a costume prop, this sculpt has been printed and painted, and affixed to a staff.
This is the final sketch I created to begin sculpting the manticore.

Fantasy Gaucho, 2022
Existing in the same world as the Rasp monster, this humanoid spends his time tending to the strange lands he lives upon. This individual was inspired by traditional Argentinian gauchos, following the theme of Argentinian heritage that sparked the sculpts of the Rasp monster and the Guiro Rasp.

Development past the simple Guiro Rasp sculpt of a Guiro Rasp cryptid. I’d like to think that this creature is what is produced when the spirit of an angry artist haunts the little wooden toy.

Marthas Haylefell Sculpt, 2020
This sculpt was my first formal introduction to Mudbox, and I am quite happy with the result! The eyebrows and medal were modeled separately to allow for careful construction and greater freedom with their shapes.
